Destruction

His mother was a heterozygous tiger hybrid, addict and prostitute.
A young girl who lived a terrible life and after one mistake, one misjudgement glorified with extra cash she fell pregnant.
Prejudice against hybrids was even more ruthless back then,
ridiculous rumours spreading like wildfire from being able to catch ‘hybrid disease’ through blood contamination to even just sharing bodily fluids.
When she stumbled into the AE department of a local hospital ready to give birth it came as no surprise the staff were reluctant on treating the pitiful creature.
Instead of just shoving her back to the streets one Doctor,
thinking of the child, called up the number of a ‘hybrid care centre’ on a card that had been stuck to the notice board
and unwittingly handed her over to government scientists.
Yuki now more commonly known as #02 was born at 34 weeks to the dying girl and was surprisingly healthy in every way apart from also being a hybrid
yet his features were easy to hide.
Exactly what they had wanted.
In the first few weeks of his life the scientists tampered with his genetic coding,
experimenting and successfully modifying him so he retained all feline advantages but none of the weaknesses, heat ect.
During the early years he studied normal education, weaponry, politics and human interacting,
passing every exam with outstandingly full marks and by the age of 7 he was the most intelligent out of the 10 subjects.
Decay
Next came defence and attack theory, he naturally excelled in both but his particular forte was still weapons handling and foreign languages.
Since day one he had showed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and brilliance, following all orders efficiently and without a single question. 
Completely and utterly brainwashed.
At 12 he began training, putting all that theory into practise with an almost army style program,
determined to match his physical strength with his intelligence.
It was at the age of 14 that he met his counterpart.
Natsuki; Stronger yet Yuki was still the smarter of the pair and both were so equally matched that the fight lasted just over an hour
and ended with the griffin ripping his left eye completely from the socket.
From then on they were paired up together and set against one another,
the two best out of the ten, perfect assassins in every way.
The years went by with the start of being given missions outside of the government base, his superiors forcing him to wear various eye patches to be more inconspicuous,
a habit he never grew out of.
However only after his forth mission Yuki learnt of Natsuki’s failure and then a week later his disgrace and torture sentence.
Apart from the loss of the only worthy opponent and a mild sense of disappointment he felt nothing about the news,
his emotional capacity devoid of anything more and he continued to be the top in everything he did.
Four years later Yuki is the government’s best and most successful experiment,
although he is now so completely brainwashed he neither realises he is in fact a hybrid the very thing he was born to destroy
and he is so utterly robotic, lacking nothing more than shadows of emotion,
even they’ve questioned their tactics.
Now his sole mission is to capture escaped hybrid #03, alias: Natsuki, alive.
Yuki’s on the hunt for an old friend…
